I’m a mum (and a jeweller)

I’m a mum (and a jeweller)

I am a mum to three beautiful, funny and crazy girls. Our eldest turned five this week, we also have a two year old and an 11 week old baby.

“You’ve got your hands full”

“Oh you must be busy”

“Wow I don’t know how you do it”

And all the other funny things people say when they see us coming.

I haven’t made jewellery for a while as towards the end of my pregnancy I wasn’t too well and then had a really rough recovery but today I went to the workshop and it felt good. I held my tools in my hand and for a few minutes I was a jeweller again.

I had closed my order book but I made something, because I was asked and because it was a special piece. Part of my job which I love so much is the stories you tell me, the stories of your lives, your loves, your journeys and the people you care about. I am often a keeper of secrets and a page in your wonderful stories.

Thank you for letting me be part of your journey.
